Strengths of Materials I Lab & Catapult Project

LAB - Tested specimens using laboratory machines to determine material properties and to observe specimen behavior under compressive, tensile, shear, and torsion stresses. Wrote and presented over 10 reports on findings. 

CATAPULT - Modeled (Fusion), printed, and tested catapult arm design. After testing version 1 to failure, improvements were made for version 2. Testing included launch distance test (image left), and strength-to-weight ratio.
